Turner Gill will be named head coach here at NU. I'm a family member. We're very excited about this. He just found out he got it!! He's very happy and thrilled. Welcome him back folks.

You don't have to believe me. But expect the news to be leaked tonight. He's flying in now.

Applause awaits Turner Gill

No huge news to deliver here, but Turner Gill and his Buffalo football team will be paid tribute tonight at a Buffalo Bulls' basketball game.

That they're honoring the Buffalo football team after a 5-7 season just shows you how bad that program was before Gill arrived.

Earlier this week, Gill was named MAC coach of the year.

Wow, Turner is so good, he can be at 2 places at once.
