Seems to me that many of us have forgotten Barry Turner. You do realize he IS going to be one of the starting D ends. It doesnt matter whether he missed spring or not, he is one of the starters. I find it kind of humorous how we talk about Potter and Allen and Steinkuhler etc but fail to remember that they are all fighting for 1 spot and 1 spot only. Turner is injured not gone. It is his job period. As fans let us not forget him because he is injured. He has played ahead of all these clowns since the day he arrived, why do you now even envision any one of them beating him out.

 
I really dont think anyone was saying someone else would beat him out. I think the only person who is playing the open end is seivers and I am pretty sure that everyone knows he is going to beat seivers out. More than likely the only reason people are talking about all the other guys is bc its spring and people just like seeing development. I really hope the starting d-line and second string is:

base:steinkhuler/allen

nose:suh/johnson

dt:barfield/dixon or townsend

open:turner/yancy

 
I can't recall reading something that doesn't have Turner in the mix. Besides, he struggled last year at getting off run blocks and making plays, and he missed spring ball. He is not out of it, but missing spring ball doesn't really help him. Sievers even mentioned that he was keeping his spot warm for him this spring until the fall, but anything can happen. I guess if no argument presents itself, make up your own!

 
Yeah I dont think anyone forgot about Turner and most people would agree that he is without a doubt one of the starting DE. I think he will be our second best DL we have this year behind Suh because Suh is just to much of a beast!

we haven't forgotten what are we supposed to do, everyday say o Barry Turner is god he is the greatest player of all time?

He isn't even doing interviews and isn't playing and isn't doing something off field (which is good) I have and many others have mentioned him in injuries talk but If that is all there is to talk about it is pointless

 
I think the spark here was the "these clowns" statement. I wouldn't want any of these guys pissed at me in a dark ally. LOL Clowns is the last thing I would think or say.

If you felt the need to respond to one person in a thread, then why not do it? I could give 2 sh#ts about the majority of your opinions and I think the last thing that this board needs is more stupid threads.
