Turnover Ratio

Has anyone noticed we're not creating the turnovers we have the past couple years.

I'm wondering if that has part of the D's problem.

Haha, you know I turned to my friends and was like, "this D doesn't create turnovers and win the turnover battle like they have in years past". Then Lavonte forced the fumble and SJB got an INT and lo and behold, we win the turnover battle.

what?

but seriously, the d's problems run deep. this is the least of them.

The defense definitely can't carry the team like before. Secondary has one great star (maybe two with JEAN-BAPTISTE)...

David is awesome.

Crick doesn't seem to be himself after his concusion thing.

So that leaves us with a mediocre line,

average LBs

and overall less than average secondary.

Compared to the Suh years, that's a huge difference.

I have less "certainty" that the defense is set to bloom, like the offense is.

With exception to me still not being sure about Martinez -- I want to see him have a complete game -- the young WRs and Iback situation, and maybe even line seems good. But on defense, IDK, I don't know what to look forward to there.

I really have a lot of faith in Bo, and I think I get his frustration pretty well. His and Carl's. Maybe Carl has ben trying to do too much, but, I definitely don't see the defense executing the way it has in the past, and that's a problem. IDK how much of it is coachs vs the players, because I know what the Pelini's can do.

Speaking of Suh, I felt so bad when he was being honored at halftime or whenever it was, and he had to smile even though the crowd was totally not into the game at the time.

Green the DB and Cassidy

seem routinely out of place.

I hope carl find's all the pieces.

I hope Jean-B can be groomed into what we need right now -- his nickname "Optimus Prime" works for me.

I was just thinking, one of the things the D could hang their hat on was the rate they forced turnovers. I noticed it seemed to decline last year, and this year there isn't any semblance of it at all.

As it stands right now, we're -1
