Tyler Moore defection looking worse by the game

Is calling a former player a quitter and not a team player in line with board rules? How is that any less of a personal attack than saying "yeah f*** him", calling a player a pu&&y or something similar?

 
I think someone is trying to start a little fire with the "Fire Barney Cotton" crowd.

A lot of folks gave high praise to the offensive line for opening holes in a defense that was suppose to be the best in the conference in stopping the run. Normally they hold a team to 90 rushing yards per game, we tripled that. I'm sure A-Rod will get some heat about those false starts, but there was no other false starts in that game, i think just 1 holding call, and no chop blocks.

Everyone makes mistakes, and you can't convince me that Tyler Moore wouldn't have made mistakes.

 
sometimes some people dont work out on a team, they might be good but not a good fit...he might do good somewhere else, who cares stop whining bout it, we put 400+ yards on em...lol :moreinteresting

I have to agree with Pelini and Fisher (that was the other coach talking to the official, yes?), that second call on Rodriguez was complete nonsense. It was clearly offsides on Michigan State.

 
T. Moore leaving in a good thing for the team long term. You don't build good teams with a sense of entitlement. Short term, it sucked

We just rushed for over 300 yards against a defense that gives up less than a 100 a game. with 2 100-yard rushers. I think a thread like this should be save for after a game where the oline actually struggles, cuz this is just ridiculous. The Oline played fine yesterday. My god.

 
Save the "my god" for some of the other ridiculous threads. It's been a recurring theme that our OTs have struggled in pass protection. Notice how many times Martinez was trying to desperately look downfield while he was sprinting away from the pass rush? How many times did Maxwell have that problem? Anyway my point is not to revisit why/how Moore left, but rather how to shore up the weak tackle pass protection this season

Ooo, ooo can I join in on this one? You mean the right side where we basically burned them on the majority of running plays? The right side where Taylor score from twice? That right side?

Yes pass pro needs work, but when you're a running team that's typical, and when you are going up against an great DE it's expected.

+1. I think the OL had a pretty good game. Arod had a few mental mistakes but overall was fine.

The loss of Moore hurts. He's an athletic talented kid. Our 3 tackles right now are doing a pretty decent job. I think it will be really good next year when Sirles gets his shoulders healed up and as Arod & Qvale complete a year's worth of experience and go through yet another spring training & fall session. Throw in Sterup who played well in the non-con and we should have a deep group. Price is another guy that could play tackle but is such a smart versatile kid, he could end up anywhere on the line. I really like some of our young talent, but we need to have a good group this year as our underclass numbers suffered a bit with the loss of Klatcko and Moore. Moore could of been a stalwart in the future and a fixture in the rotation this year and possibly earn the starts but his expectations were more individualistic than team orientated. Now he will sit a year in transfer which burns me. He could of sat a year here and developed that strength and knowledge and would of been the guy and satisfied both his goals and the teams goals but noooo...

Show me your evidence that the all might Tyler Moore wouldve made a difference. The entitled brat didnt like it here because he was obviously getting beat out by other guys. What has Tyler Moore done in the past to suggest that with him here, Taylor never gets touched. Again. Michigan St.'s D is stout. They put that pressure on everyone. How many times was Taylor sacked? Again. M Y G O D.

True our guard play was not at its best yesterday...but to put part blame for the reason our guard play is like that on the fact that Tyler Moore left the program has nothing to do with it.

Taylor was sacked twice for a loss of 29 yards and running for his life on at least half a dozen plays. Statue-QB Maxwell was sacked...never. If Taylor was as slow-footed as statue QB Maxwell, he would have been sacked 6-7 times.

William Gholston is one of the most overrated players in the country in my opinion. I don't get all the fuss about him.
