Strig implies that UCLA was never that great to begin with. By saying that they are indeed back means they're back to being above average at best. I concur!

It's both teams first game ... lets not draw the "final" conclusion to anything yet. Whatever happens in this game means nothing when we play UCLA ... humbly submitted. We have yet to see our team show up, nor play on the road ... nor do we know if we are lay the ball on the carpet four times ... have 2-3 interceptions ... execute without penalties ... do or not do all the small things. At present ... UCLA is winning a football game ... that is all.

Just saw that highlight, I don't think there's any way he makes that run on our guys. I don't think they'll catch our defense that out of position and we're a hell of a lot faster than that.

 
Anyone notice how easily Rice is able to move the ball on these guys? Yes I know it is the 1st game but still....

 
This isn't reallythat surprising. Mora had a TON of work to do with that defense.

Hundley is probably faster than Cody was. He also looks a lot bigger than when he was playing down in Arizona
