As far as Henderson never being KO'd, neither has Bisping. That doesn't mean either can't lose. Also, doesn't Hendo's loss to Silva via choke count as a KO? If he hadn't submitted he would've been KO'd.

I f@cking hate Dollaway, but I think his wrestling skills and stand up are just a tad better than Lawlor's.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see Mir-Nogueira. If Lesnar has a good chin, it shouldn't matter to much. If Mir wants to stand and throw bombs, I think Lesnar will put a hole in his head.

Since Hendo tapped, then it doesn't count as a KO and I'm not completely sure it would be a KO if he just passed out. Either way, Hendo made his name in Pride where Bisping has at least half, or more, of his fights against English and other Scandanavian fighters in smaller fighting companies. I think if Hendo can withstand the striking of guys like Rampage and Wanderlei, he has VERY high odds of not getting KO'ed by Bisping. We'll see though, age is on the side of Bisping, so anything can happen. Should be a great PPV no matter what! :thumbs

 

[Apathy]

Brock Lesnar Vs. Frank Mir

Why: I think that Frank Mir has too much experience and momentum in coming into this fight. The only good fighter that Brock has really beat was Randy and Randy even gave Brock a run for his money. I think that Frank will take out Brock within the first 2 minutes of the first round. I wouldn't be surprised if Brock goes bull rushing into Mir within the first 3 seconds of the first round.

Georges St-Pierre Vs. Thiago Alves

Why: Georges St-Pierre is unstopable right now and he'll cleary will win this fight and is no match for Thiago

Jon Fitch Vs. Paulo Thiago

Why: Jon Fitch went toe to toe against St-Pierre and lost an unanimous decision to him but he beat Diego Sanchez and knocked out Thiago Alves where Paulo has only beat one person Josh Koscheck....anybody can beat Koscheck.

Dan Henderson Vs. Michael Bisping

Why: Dan Henderson made a name for himself in Pride by claiming two titles at the same time I believe and is a well rounded fighter. I believe the way Michael treated Dan during the TUF that Dan has some pay back to do and since his USA team didn't do so hot. With all the sucess that UK has had in the season that Dan will have something to prove.....beating Michael Bisping to land him is 2nd loss and USA having the last word.

Yoshihiro Akiyama Vs. Alan Belcher

Why: This is Yoshihiro first fight in the Octagon and Alan has more experience in fighting better fighters and he beat Ed Herman (I think that Ed Herman is an amazing fighter but thats just me).

Mark Coleman Vs. Stephan Bonnar

Why: Mark Coleman is an old fart and if this goes past the 1st round Mark is doomed. He has no cardo whatsoever. Stephan Bonnar will take him out in the 2nd by knockout

Mac Danzig Vs. Jim Miller

Why: Danzig is on a losing streak don't really care for this fight

Jon Jones Vs. Jake O'Brien

Why: Jon Jones is a star in the making and this guy was a STUD against Stephan Bonnar.

Dong Hyun Kim Vs. TJ Grant

Why: Don't care to explain

CB Dollaway Vs. Tom Lawlor

Why: Don't care to explain

Matt Grice Vs. Shannon Gugerty

I'm still a little upset that Lesner won can't stand him at all he's such a cocky hot head but the Dan Henderson knockout was the best part of the night and it made my night. I can't stand Bisping either because he's just like Lesner and Henderson finally shut him up. I really liked the song that Henderson came out to and yesterday I became a fan of Henderson.....such a mellow soft spoken type of guy.

I'm still a little upset that Lesner won can't stand him at all he's such a cocky hot head but the Dan Henderson knockout was the best part of the night and it made my night. I can't stand Bisping either because he's just like Lesner and Henderson finally shut him up. I really liked the song that Henderson came out to and yesterday I became a fan of Henderson.....such a mellow soft spoken type of guy.

Screw that man. Mir is such a punk. Always tries to be the good guy. He was in his hometown for crying out loud and got his world rocked. Then the crowd boos Lesnar so Lesnar freaks out and makes a fool of himself. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Lesnar was out of line, but how would you like to be booed after retaining the title in a bitter personal rivalry match.

On a side note, it sure was a treat seeing Hendo knock out Bisping. That guy was knocked out for awhile!

Lesner is a chump and the reason why the crowd was booing Lesner is because of the way Lesner has been acting for the past couple weeks talking all that trash. Mir isn't guilty too because he talk trash too but Lesner was the one who started the whole thing because he's still butt hurt about his loss from last year. Dude was a chump in WWE, couldn't handle it in the NFL tryouts and finally found something that he's decent at. I'm not taking anything away from Lesner in that loss but the dude is a chump and he proved it during his interview after the fight. Everytime when somebody questions him about steroids he freaks out and he either goes crazy or he storms off the set or both.

On a side note I hope Fedor comes to the UFC after his fight with Affliction come Aug 1st which is his last fight on his contract and comes to the UFC to rough up Lesner.

I won't argue with any of that, but I think he has a cool background. NCAA Div 1 Nat Champ then the wrestling gig, and trying out for the NFL and all. The thing is, he's not just decent, he's a wrecking machine and I think he will be champ for a long time. Fedor coming to UFC would be cool, you know Dana's up his a$$ all the time about it...To be honest I don't know if Fedor would be able to withstand Brock's fists. I know its the great Fedor and all, but standing them two side by side I just say no way can Fedor beat him...not that Fedor hasn't done it time after time already...It will certainly be one of the most hyped fights ever if they can get Fedor to step into the Octagon though.

That Bisping KO was ridiculous. HE WAS OUT ON HIS FEET!! Props to Henderson.

St. Pierre was phenomenal as well!! He's just too good, and manages to get better every fight.

I can't wait for the Fedor/Lesnar fight, hope Fedor punishes that cocky f@ck!!

 

[Red Storm Brewing]

Bisping's mouth piece flew out faster than his lights went out i think. This is the knockout of the year and will take something ultra huge to top. Loved the second full body into it shot Henderson gave him because "Bisping was talking too much."

GSP is a stud and ever since Hughes dominated him has just became so much of a better fighter.

But two of the studs of the sport are on tap August 8th, Penn and the Spider. BJ is fighting Ken Florian, that should be good, but Anderson is going up to light heavyweight to fight Forrest Griffin which could be Silva's biggest test to date.
