True...but the situation where he beat his wife means he beat his wife.

Absolutely. He is a cowardly P.O.S. Any man who beats a woman is. But for people to say that the alleged restaurant incident and attending Bo's meeting were warning signs that he was like this is stupid.

They could have been warning signs to those who knew him. Maybe this wasnt as out of left field as we think. This could have been the culmination of a rocky relationship, we dont know.

Either way it really doesnt matter. His douchey attitude in public can now be lumped in with his woman beater title. Before you could say "Well the guy did just lose his job so an outburst is understandable". But knowing now that he is truly an a$$, makes the public outburst look that much worse.

My point is we didn't know him. So for any of us to draw conclusions from these two instances is a stretch. No one on here has any idea the full extent of the restaurant thing.

What does the rest of the coaching world think of you as a defensive line coach when you've got Randy Gregory, Maliek Collins, Vincent Valentine, and Greg McMullen and your defensive lines sacks, tackles for losses, run defense, and QB pressure is nothing spectacular and laughable in some cases? Yes, I know....it had to suck playing in Bo's scheme, but Kazinski clearly felt it suited him fine, he left Iowa to come here and coach with Bo.

I didn't say I wanted him to stay. My response is to the gobiggergoredder post making it sound like people on here knew he beat his wife and wanted to keep him as a coach despite that.

I hadn't gotten that far into the conversation yet. I had merely seen you reference Kazinski and "coaching abilities" in the same sentence and I had a chuckle. It's fine if you don't think he's a good coach. I was just curious if you actually had an opinion on what his supposed abilities are. I'd leave that open for anyone to answer really. As I said, all that talent and the results he got says maybe he's not as great as some think. Seems to me he just has a problem controlling his temper.

I usually reserve judgment on a coach that is no longer with the team until I see what the new coach does in their place.

It makes you wonder how much Bo knew about Sanders, Carl, and Kaz while they were here. Also makes you wonder what else we don't know about some of the other coaches that are no longer here.

Nothing wrong with that.
I'm not sure what the new staff will accomplish. I simply think that if Kaz is a good coach, he would have gotten a lot more than he did out of Randy Gregory, Maliek Collins, Vincent Valentine, and Greg McMullen.

I'll be truly disappointed if Nebraska's sack, TFL, and rush defense numbers don't improve.

I'm happy we don't have a wife beater on the current staff. I imagine Coach Riley is glad as well.

No, none of us here probably know the full extent of that incident. All we know is he got angry in public and made a scene.

Now we know he gets angry and throws things at women. I would venture to say his anger caused both incidents.

I think it's okay to care that a woman was abused. Unless you are an insensitive douchebag. Then I guess not caring would fit.

Well, we've seen at least a few examples of coaches under Bo that we thought were trash, but it really turned out that they were hamstringed by being under Bo. It's not a stretch to think the same about Kaz, who had a great reputation as a d-line coach beforehand, and also had good success at places other than here.

As to the rest of this, let's not turn into an angry social media mob trying to condemn the guy, because even when it doesn't seem like it, there's always more to the story context-wise. But regardless, dude obviously has problems and need help, and hopefully his wife stays safe and healthy through all of it.
