The U up-ends the suck-eyes. I’m jealous of Miami and consider them to have a parallel program arc to Nebraska to a certain extent: both programs were dominant in the 80s, and 90s, falling off in the early 2000s and even exchanging nattys.
Only difference is, they are able to resurrect themselves because they were committed to getting good coaches and players who brought culture, standards and identity, and we are stuck in failure because we do none of those things.
at this point, I don’t think Nebraska is capable of turning things around to a championship level even if we wanted to no matter how much money we put out.
