Uniform suggestion: DROP THE PANTS STRIPES!

As I just said, do you actually know that the head coach was the one who decided "Hey, I want stripes on the pants!"? Just because we got stripes on the pants the same year that we got a new coach, does not mean that he was responsible.

 
I don't get the Black thing. Black isn't the Schools colors. 2 Teams in the North already wear black. Do we want the Buskers to Look like Texas Tech? Because that is what it will look like.

I can't believe I'm saying this...but we are in perfect f'ing harmony here.

Steve brought the stripes back in '03, getting away from the Oregon look we rocked in '02. Never liked em.

Nope, we went back to the solid pants in '03 (check link). The stripes came in Callahan's first year, but I don't recall ever hearing anything about it being Callhan's decision or not...as far as I know the stripes and Callahan are two completely isolated incidents.

I should have said Steve brought the stripes back in '04 rather than '03. I do distinctly remember Steve talking about it in '04, how Nebraska always wore stripes when we had worked there in previous capacities and he wanted to bring them back.

 
The solids actually look cool too.

It's a tossup for me.

I do think the all-whites look pretty sweet with stripes, so there's that. I think there's nothing wrong with them. The '03 all-whites were tacky though.

 
If we ever change our helmets the only one I would like to see is one from 1969

Other then that I do like the solid nui's better but not going to complain unless we start changin our unis like Oregon!!!

 
Because I have seen it posted a few times, Adidas is the one that has influenced the stripes or not, and when Solich's team switched to the large stripes on the side the team voted on whether or not to accept Adidas' recommendations with the vote being to change for the season so long as the helmet was left alone.
