Unpopular Food Takes

@knapplc @teachercd, if you use a crockpot regularly, I suggest getting an Instant Pot with a slow cooker capability. It's better at maintaining temp, keeping in moisture, way easier to clean, and not as easily broken. Plus you can do other stuff with it.

I had one and I never ended up using it as much as I should have.

I know this is pure evil but I even did brisket in it and it turned out great!

It's not evil to cook foods in different ways. Slow smoking brisket is amazing but way more effort than in a slow or pressure cooker.

Pulled pork really easy in the slow or pressure cooker. But the surprising one for me was how it perfectly cooks whole artichokes: 45 minutes on high pressure then let them cool a bit.

I love my Instant Pot. I use it way more often than my crock pot these days.

Gonna need a recipe tip on that one, Teach.
