*UNVERIFIED* Russians Blackmailing Trump with video of him with Sex Workers Engaging in Golden Showers

Don Lemon just spent 20 minutes interviewing security pundits implying the FBI is investigating, as well as giving overall credence to the situation by labeling the British source as "reliable".

In our time TMZ and CNN have traded places on the legitimacy spectrum. sh#t is cray cray.

Sure, even though CNN repeatedly said they haven't verified the truth in allegations bug are reporting the information was being circulated in Washington and was reported to trump.

CNN is staking their reputation on breaking this story. It was Tapper, Jim Sciutto and Carl Bernstein who broke it, the former two being two of their most respected people, and Bernstein being one of the original reporters who broke Watergate. They're not journalistic nobodies.

But this wealth of information has been known about in the media for a LONG time, and has been reported on before. CNN is NOT reporting that everything in the Buzzfeed dossier is true, in fact they said it's unverified. But as has been said, they learned that our intelligence trusted the source agent and his sources to be credible enough to transfer his info into a two-page report that was given to POTUS, PEOTUS, and a "Gang of 8" select Congress leaders/intel committee heads.

There's reason to believe the FBI is looking into this. Comey would NOT answer when asked today if they're actively investigating campaigns contacting Russia, and he quoted a longstanding tradition to not comment on open investigations. I took that to mean yes. And also, this:

He was involved in lewd acts committed entirely in private. So what? Even if video evidence arises, what do we have proof of other than infidelity? As though we really need hard evidence of him being unfaithful...
If we pretend this is all true, you're completely missing the point - which is that they successfully used the video to blackmail him.
The question is, assuming there's legitimacy to the reports (and the scales are tilting towards 'yes') will the Trump supporters value partisan politics and beliefs over national security and a President that has been compromised by Russia?

At least John McCain is willing to put country first. Can't say the same about too many of his colleagues though...

I'm gonna be pissed if some of it's true but the crazy stuff isn't and makes the rest unbelievable. I want this r** ******d to be impeached.
Ha ha! That somehow seems fitting!

There's been enough of a misinformation campaign about Russia and Putin in particular that he has a higher net favorability rating than Obama among voting Republicans.

The party of Reagan likes a Russian head of state more than the United States president. If that doesn't tell you about the lack of rational thinking from Republicans, nothing will.

Here's the deal - let's say that some of this report isn't real ... even as much as 50-60% (which I don't think is the case). If 10% of it IS true, it's horrifying and imo an impeachable offense.

Trump has been on a twitter campaign against the Intelligence Community these past several weeks. Why would a president-elect do that?
