Ouch! When I seen his ankle after the play I cringed. I hope he heals up fast and wish him luck in his recovery :thumbs

That hit was brutal. I couldn't stand to look at his leg in all of the replays that they showed.

I thought for sure he broke his leg. I guess it was a dislocated ankle? OUCH! I feel for the guy. Hope he recovers well.

He had an ORIF Open Reduction Internal Fixation. They made incisions around the damaged ankle bones and reduced(set) the bones in place and reinforced the bones with titanium or stainless plates and screws. Probably real similar to Herians' surgery. This could be worse being located that close to the ankle. Tougher to stabilize and strengthen that area.

Dislocated and broken. You've got all those small ligaments and stuff in there too, so he probably wont be playing this year.

I think if anyone had that injury and was in as much pain as I imagine he was they wouldn't care if the amputated the damn leg as long as they made the pain go away!!!!

Most likely because his adrenaline was still going........You can bet about 30 minutes after that or an hour he was one hurting S.O.B. there's no way he couldn't have been.....
