The genesis of what? The scoreboard said we had 20 points, but 7 of those came from a pick six.
13 points of offense and a head-scratching passing game performance, both from an execution standpoint and a playcalling standpoint.
So I'm supposed to see the genesis of what exactly? That's a season-low offensive points total.
Definitely invigorating!

Rhule is right. Offensively, I didn't see problems with play-calling. The tempo was better. The running game looked better. The team had energy. Several passes were thrown much quicker.
There just seems to be a bit of a problem for the young QB making decisions. And some passes are off or soft or under thrown or overthrown. And a few of our starting wide-outs just don't seem to make routine plays consistently.
It's hard to have success with those factors.
Some drives were ruined when the QB chose to run and slide on a pass play when it shouldn't have happened like that. Some drives stalled because of not throwing it down field from the pocket (10 yards or more). Grip it and rip it aka "timing patterns". The protection was mostly there and good enough. There also seemed to be a pattern of looking-off wideouts way too soon.
This is going to take more time for #15 to learn and develop more than I thought.
