USC QB Competition

I live in LA and all the USC fans seem to think Mark Sanchez was going to be the starter anyway - Booty is not popular with the rest of the team - He's really cocky and hasn't proved anything yet - I'm more fearful of Sanchez because I've seen him play in HS and people follow him.

Either way I think QBs that have only saw success in their college carrer and playing a low top 25 ranked team like us could underate our team and we could really shock them

he may be popular but only the coaches know who will be starting and who not..well if you read it you see that carrol had sanchez way behind the level booty was at but i look at it this way..i hope sanchez is the qb bc reguardless of how good you are it will only be his 2nd game and i think he could struggle a lot with our d being prepared with 2 games already under their belts

 
I'd be alot happier to see Sanchez at QB and agreee with huskerfan8 ... I would love to see how well that green horn is going to deal with the Black Shirt defense this year. Carriker and Moore will eat him for lunch. Especially with the fact that we play them so early in the season. I think that USC vs NU is going to be a great game.

 
For sure it will be nationally televised. And as far as QB's go. I'm pulling for the freshman to play. No matter how highly touted he is he still lacks real game speed reps. We'd kill him.

 
I can hear the nay sayers now cough... cough... (benard). We beat them with a without their best qb. I hope Booty plays. That way when we beat them there arent any excuses.

 
I agree, the last thing Nebraska needs is another team to add onto the list that have bad excuses why they lost to us. I am looking for the D line to come away with a great game. :restore2
