USC Tradition...

But seriously, this idiot has been lurking for too long. I know that my responses, as in kindergarten, only egg him/her on.

Just had to post some USC history/Tradition...as per the 2001 schedule. "Fair-Weather Fan?" Yes, please.

It's only a matter of time, USC "I heart surfing and hair-dye" Tradition.

We all know that USC is a "dynasty" :sarcasm

Well, I just thought I would throw out another number. In the last 3 decades (for all of you USC grads that equals 30 years), USC had had a perfect season (for all of you USC grads that would be undefeated and untied) exactly......drum roll please.............once. ONCE! Wow! Only one perfect season in 30 years. That is quite the dynasty. :sarcasm

:rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin :rollin :rollin:rollin:rollin:nutz

I know, I know, little trojan man. You just want to pick a five year span and call it a dynasty. But let's look at some recent time spans to determine what a TRUE dynasty might be.

Winingest team in the last half century (for all of you usc grads, that equals 50 years).....#1=Nebraska (usc #9)

Winingest team in the last 40 years .......... #1=Nebraska (usc #8)

Winingest team in the last 30 years .......... #1=Nebraska (usc #15)

Winingest team in the last quarter century (for all of you usc grads, that equals 25 years) .......... #2=Nebraska (usc #19)

Winingest team in the last 20 years .......... #3=Nebraska (usc #16)

Winingest team in the last 10 years .......... #11=Nebraska (usc #13) that's right little trojan man, when you tighten the parameters that much, your little boys of troy finally start to catch up.

Now, I know all of you usc fans out there only want to talk about a period that spans an entire :sarcasm half-decade....the last half decade (for all of you usc grads, that equals five years), however, being the historian that I am, that is far to recent a time period to gain a true historical perspective. Perhaps, if usc is ever able to own an entire decade (for all of you usc grads, that equals ten years), then you can come back and talk about the beginnings of a dynasty.

Oh, by the way, total number of wins:

Nebraska...... 812

usc .............. 746

Last year usc won 11 games and Nebraska won 9. If usc continues to win at least two more games than Nebraska per year, they will catch up to Nebraska in 33 short years. So, little trojan man. Come back in 33 years and tell me all about your little usc dynasty. :nutz

You forgot to list attendance figures. For the 9-29 embarassing home loss to Stanford, only 31,000 bothered to show up. Great fan support.
