Vershan Jackson

Husker stuck at kstate

Four-Star Recruit
I don't know if anyone has been listening to Matt Perrault's radio show. He interviewed Vershan Jackson a former TE for nebraska and he made some very strong comments.

Big Sports 590

- listen to all of Vershan's interviews. one comment that Jackson said was, "callahan is one of the biggest arrogant pricks i've even seen in my life"

I didn't listen to it since I'll need to download I tunes but why is DeAngelo Evans even giving his opinion on Husker football?

Matt, Vershan Jackson, Petey Mac and DeAngelo Evans talk about the Huskers fourth loss of the year at the hands of Texas A&M.

Vershan Jackson? Why don't they keep calling the Sandman too while they're at it. Like they'd expect them to say anything different.

This is the greatest thing I've heard this week. "I wanted to cross body block all those guys sitting there on the bench, not supporting their team." "It makes you look like the biggest cream puffs in America."

DAMN.

This guy is the kind of guy we need prowling the sidelines. Jeezum crow. THIS is the kind of fire we've been lacking. I don't care what anyone says, if this is the kind of Nebraska fire we played with in the old days, then we need someone with this attitude at the HC position. If that means Turner Gill, where do I sign?

f#*k recruiting. Play with balls, play with heart. The recruits will come of their own accord to play like monsters.

Where are you seeing DeAngelo Evans? They are talking with Jerome Peterson a former cornerback from the 90s?

why the hell would anyone care what deangelo evans thinks? He couldn't man up and stick it out when he was here--why would we want his opinion?

My thoughts exactly. That dude flat out quit on his teammates, the university and the staff. He has NO RIGHT to say anything about the current situation. That was lame. Man they might as well have brought Curt Dukes on as well. Awesome. :bang

Who gives a rat's backside what Matt Perrault thinks either. I love how he talks about the 94-95 Huskers like he watched them play. He has about as much knowledge of Husker tradition as Callahan. They may think they remember those teams but they don't. Just because he may have googled them or caught a game on ESPN Classic doesn't mean crap to me. Matt Perrault's show is a complete waste of radio time as is his Fat Sidekick's Travis TV show. I would rather sit here and watch this :moreinteresting then listen to that Red Sox loving Retard and his Super Sized, Dunkin Donut eating, walking fraud sidekick.

Vershan Jackson hasn't been on board since 04 so this rant shouldn't suprise anyone. He has said this kind of stuff since day one. At least he hasn't flip flopped in the last 4 years.

DeAngelo Evans did get knocked around by Mackovika, but he got one thing right.

He said, "With Osborne, football was chess... With Solich, it was checkers."

Dude nailed that one.

We haven't had any sunshine pumpers on here for a while. I'm glad you're all about crapping on former players!

Vershan Jackson is on every Monday in-studio to talk about Husker football. He pretty much tells it how it was under Osborne and McBride, and how it is different now with this coaching staff. As far as I'm concerned, he's earned his stripes, and if he wants to call out somebody, I don't have a problem with that.

Agreed...don't know if it was 'appropriate,' but that was a hell of a quote!

That said, isn't Evans late for his shift at Wendy's? I don't care if you quit on a coach, but you should never quit on your teammates....he did, and his place in Nebraska is over. Credibility is gone.
