I can’t believe all the Husker fans throwing Martinez under the bus. The guy just had a record breaking year for us. Sure he has room to improve. Plenty of room. But our struggles the last few games aren’t only his fault. No QB in the nation could run a decent offense behind our pathetic o-line, with his WRs dropping half the balls thrown to them. /jmho

 
I didn't watch, but I'm guessing it stops abruptly in the middle and just cuts to static. Like right after the first quarter of the Missouri game.

It is pretty funny. if you look at all the BCS teams, besides maybe oregon they all have a great QB. Look at what happened to Texas and Florida when the lost their "franchise" QB. The QB in football is the most important postition, like a pitcher in baseball. If you dont have a good one, no one else on the team has a chance to shine. Point being we did pretty darn good with a freshman QB..it could have been ALOT worse....a la Texass

the problems happened when Martinez got hurt. Period. The guys behind him couldn't do what he could, and Watson still ran the same offense. We will be much better off this year with Brion behind Taylor. If we would have had Taylor #2 who could have come in when he got hurt we would have been fine. We just lacked depth at the QB position this year badly, that's all. Next year we will have 3 guys, if the coaches choose to burn Jamal's redshirt and assuming Bubba goes pro baseball. We'll be fine next year.
