Vote for Callahan - Big XII Coach of the Year

Walk-on
Husker Nation needs your help! Bill Callahan is in a tight race in a probably meaningless internet poll with Ron Prince for Big XII Coach of the year.

Go to www.big12sports.com and click on the link near the bottom of the page. If you block the cookie from www.big12sports.com, you can keep voting over and over.

Callahan is currently about a 1,000 votes behind Prince, and we can't let that happen!

Thanks, and GO BIG RED!

I am sorry but my vote would have to go to Ron Prince. He has done more with less! I believe Callaghan has under acchieved. Now had we beat OK State it maybe another story! Sorry just being abjective!

Yeah I seen earlier that Prince was ahead and I was like bullsh#t!!! ;)
Sorry, take the red blinders off. Prince has done some unreal stuff there with where that program was at when Snyder left. It's not like he had Chad May or Michael Bishop under center or Darren Sproles taking the handoffs. The cupboard was pretty bare. Hasn't he played something like 13 freshman this year and is now starting 5 including an 18 year old quarterback? Prince definitely gets the nod.

Sorry guys, I disagree with this Ron Prince statement. Yes, he has had a good year, but look what we have overcome. Two Top DB's Injured, one Top LB Injured and both a RB and LB out off and on through the year with hamstring injuries.

With all of that, I would say that Callahan has not just done an average job but a GREAT job.

In addition, we went from 110 in the Nation in Rushing Last Year to the Top 20 this year.

If anyone deserves this award, it would be Bill Callahan.

Have we forgotten that we are going to the Big XII Championship?

The only reason that K-State won Saturday night was due to McCoy's injury.

We beat Texas with McCoy; yes, maybe the score does not reflect it, but we out coached and out played the Number 4 team in the Nation.

These are only my opinions so take them for what they are worth.

Point will taken but we were expected to win the North. I frankly expected Prince to win maybe 2 games in his first year. Whether we like it our not we are in for a long haul with him down there and with him having Freeman.

I don't understand why unexpected progress counts more than expected progress. I think BC has done an excellent job of moving the Huskers in the right direction and deserves credit. Yes, we're about where I expected but still a worthy accomplishment.
