Vote for Callahan - Big XII Coach of the Year

I am with you CMB, I have been a NE fan since I was small child but I don't believe Callagfhan is deserving as Prince is! But you really can't be a NE fan and suggest that someone else did a better job. Pretty closed minded.

Thanks 55...I think...a little confused. You said that you agree that Prince is more deserving, but then you say: "But you really can't be a NE fan and suggest that someone else did a better job. Pretty closed minded."

I think one is a closed-minded fan if they DON'T put others into consideration. Were you being sarcastic? Am I misreading what you meant?

Anyway....good to see that others can commend the competition on a job well done.

I can't see how you can deny Prince the nod at this point in time. Nebraska was expected to win the North, and some were even predicting a BCS bowl bid (we'll see in KC). Callahan had done a better job this season, but he has made a fool of himself too many times.

Weak playcalling against USC on national television and continiously losing leads in the second half and struggling to hang on to wins. Only the Texas game does he gets kudos, and some of that took trick plays for NU to jump back into that one.

Prince and the Wildcats weren't expected to do much of anything this season and here they are bowl eligible with a win over highly ranked Texas. Guys, seriously, Prince is a prime consideration while Callahan still has a lot to prove.

As much as I would like to see Callahan wins it, Prince gets the nod imo. I don't like him, his team, or anything else involving the color purple, but they have done too good for him not to win it.

Callahan is the coach of the year in my opinion and there isn't a damn thing anyone can say that will change my mind!!! :woo You can call it wearing the red glasses or drinking the kool-aid or whatever, but look at what we have achieved here in a short amount of time!!!
