For those of you who think Barner should get the vote, look at that pathetic defense he played. Anyone could put up big numbers in a track race. Martinez put up his numbers on the 5th best D in the country! Gets my vote.

5th best D statistically. I don't think they're the 5th best defense.

I'm fairly confident one could find five defenses better than MSU's in just the SEC alone.

Holy crap, shoot me now. There are 3 elite defenses in the SEC: Bama, LSU, and Florida. Then there are two quality defenses that are comparable to MSU's: Georgia and South Carolina.
