vtrech black out

Long before these other schools were doing the blackouts and the white outs, Nebraska was the sea of red. Where other schools had to organize their fans to wear a single color, it just happened naturally at Memorial Stadium.

I would hate to see tradition replaced by a gimmick.

It doesn't help when the ticket office gave students the Throw the Bones black Tshirts when you got your student ticket...

Oe of the only traditions we as fans have any control of is being ruined by this assinine black out crap. Our stadium looked terrible last night, with all the black shirts mixed in. It was obvious and it destroys the one and only thing we can do as fans. God I wish this $hit would end.

:yeah :horns2

i agree we need to be done with the b******* crap. We are scarlet and cream. There is no black in our colors. We currently do NOT have blackshirts. We have not had a true blackshirt defense since 1999 in my opinion. People need to quit calling our defense blackshirts, and showing that symbol on our huskervision. It is a tradition I would rather not try to force on and give the true blackshirts a bad name. Just like our "pipeline" references to our people impersonating an o-line.

forget the b******* crap...that is for other teams....i would like to see EVERY person wear read. not white, grey, black...but red....that would be impressive

and not just on certain days, every game

Why a b******* anyways. Whats the point of the color black. Most of the fans wear red anyways so why not try to have a red out. half the battle would already be done. Memorial Used to be one of the most intimidating places to play in. It still can be next weekend. Wear RED, BE LOUD, stand up and CHEER the whole game.

Keep the black and gold out of the stadium, as much red as you can possibly get.

Black out is a total joke. Whoever said just get everyone to wear red instead of gray etc.

Georgia did a b******* and that seemed to work pretty well. Jim Rome had a funny comment about Georgia. He said he was surprised that Alabama even stayed to play with the entire crowd wearing such a scary color like black etc etc.
