Was NU robbed? Let's think back...

THE SCENARIOS WERE NOT THE SAME. In 94 the ref blew the play dead with time still on the clock, the timekeeper was just slow hitting the button. Last night the clock just ran out without the ref calling the play dead and the ref decided he wanted to stretch the**** out of a rule interpretation to give Texas every benefit of the doubt
This is exactly correct. I watched the 94 orange bowl few hours ago for this same purpose, just to compare how each situation was handled. You can hear a whistle clear as day with the clock actually showing 2 seconds. Last night, you certainly didnt hear a whistle with time on the clock, and there is a slight sound of a whistle after the clock hits 0. This is gonna be a topic for a long time, and we can all sit onf the fact that THERE WAS A SECOND LEFT, but the way it was handled was complete bullsh#t. At least Bowden and Osborne were each given a thurough explanation, last night they totally snubbed Pelini.

In a way they was because texas O-LINE was holding all game long not 1 single holding call that I remember, only calls that was called was the chop blocking ,but thats prolly because they couldnt hide it lol . :dunno
