I live right outside of Amarillo and heard about one of the football players getting arrested on drug charges, but forgot to look it up. What a shame. :facepalm:

 
I thought Simi Kuli was going to be a huge star. Too bad. Waste of talent.

He was a casualty of the transition when we fired Callahan, right?

not certain, but i think he committed (to TO) after the firing but before bo was hired, then decommitted not too long after.

If I remember correctly this was about what happened. We were in contact with him when Callahan was the coach. So was OU and LSU. When we all knew that Callahan was going to be fired (and Bo Pelini was seen in Lincoln several times) Simi decommitted from LSU for some reason and scheduled a trip to NU. He then committed to Coach Osborne. So you can kind of connect the dots all that you want.
