Oregon St is totally shutting down their running game and repeatably Wilson is throwing to WIDE OPEN wrs and I'll be damned....they "catch" the ball every time.

I'm soooooo jealous!!!

Did you watch ASU and Missouri last night? Their recievers have mastered this art of "catching" the ball.

 
OK, the more significant part of that statement is that WI's running game is being shut down by a very weak team. That is a surprise.

Let's not forget that a weak enough defense can make any QB look like Peyton Manning (think Ok. State last year).

WI is certainly a very good football team, but drawing too many conclusions (good or bad) against this type of competition is risky at best.

 
I hope Kinnie puts forth a little effort tonight. His route-running (never mind the drops) was atrocious against UTC.

 
Why not throw it Jamal Turner more than once tonight? I have a feeling he wont drop many, if any balls.

True enough, that's the upside. The Beavers shut down the Cheesehead's running game cold.

I guess I just have flashbacks to last year's Texas game and this year's 1st game. Same scenario as the Wisky/Beaver game "except" .....well.....you know.

The standard defense against Wisconsin is to put 8-9 in the box and hope you can pressure the QB into bad passes. When that fails, you have to take guys out of the box and they steamroll right over you.
