Watching the ProBowl...

First off, on Vanden Bosch, that guy has a motor like I've never seen. I was watching one segment on NFL Live or one of those shows (there are roughly 79 NFL shows now), and they had him miked up. That guy NEVER stops flying to the ball, he is relentless to the whistle. High school kids should have to watch film of him to see what hard work really looks like.

Second, having lived in Minnesota the past 8 years, I have grown to completely hate the Vikings. It's hard to hate a team who continuously fails to do anything significant, but between the purple unis and having to hear about a perennial loser year-round, I can't stand these guys. It's fun watching a team with a group of seemingly D-II receivers and a mediocre quarterback try to help out a once-in-a-generation tailback like AP, I can't wait till he is traded for 50 cents on the dollar.

Spoken like a true Minnesotan!!!!! It just seems like the MN teams find a way to lose their fans and make everyone hate their sport. I guess the only team I enjoy is the Wild....and I am not a big fan of hockey!

Granted, the WRs didn't do much in the passing game, but they did plenty to help AD. I remember after one game, one of the refs told Childress that he hadn't seen WRs run block that well in his entire career in the NFL. And let's not forget about the great run blocking line. Oh yeah, and the pro-bowl fullback he runs behind. Plus the top 10 defense that keeps games low scoring and allows the offense to stay committed to the run.

There are plenty of problems with passing game. In fact, every element: Pass blocking by the OL, Tarvaris, WRs who can't catch, but it's inaccurate to say the rest of the team doesn't do anything or only tries to support AD.

On a more somber note, Vikings LB Kenechi Udeze was diagnosed with Leukemia today.

 
My HS coach just told me Van Den Bosch has a camp up by Okaboji, Iowa and He wants me to go!! Im going to get to meet Van Den Bosch!!! :w00t (If everything works out.)

There is no doubt the RUN defense was good again this year for the Vikes, but their pass defense SUCKS!!!!! If it wasn't for AD than their record would have been even worse. You have to understand that MN sports teams always screw everything up. The Twins got rid of Torii Hunter and then traded Santana for basically "prospects" who have not done anything. The T-Wolves got rid of Garnett and never did anything for him while he was here. I could go on and on. It is the frustration of MN fans I guess.

Anyways, back to Vanden Bosch....he is a beast and I wish we could have someone like him on the Blackshirts. I had to play against him in high school and it sucked.....
