WC Offense?

Aggies are gonna run it after running the spread option. Looks like they are gonna run Callahan's complicated version, so will the Aggies likely be bad on offense in 08 trying to learn the playbook and 3 paragraph play calls? Goodson and Lane both have great hands and Goodson is a burner. What do you think?

IMO if they are willing to "morph" there version to what they have they will do fine. I always thought that was Callys biggest problem is that he wasnt willing to customize his system to the talent he had. You can impliment certain things at a time and be successful with it. It all comes down to stubborness by the HC.

Watson himself said something that I have been saying for a few years now. Everyone loves to tag an offense as a West Coast offense, or a spread offense. When really, every offense has it's own wrinkles. Which is why he likes to call what Nebraska runs, the Nebraska offense. Novel idea :)

He has also said that the way he calls it is a little less wordy, more streamlined. "Think fast, play fast".

In Callahan's defense...

he would make adjustments. I mean we ran a zone read for the entire first half against Colorado.

By the time BC thought his adjustments through and decided to make them it waqs Monday afternoon.

Sherman will run, eventually, what they ran in Green Bay when he was up there. If he is smart, he will do a slow evolution to it to make use of the players he has now. A strait up jump means they are home next Dec.
