We need to take this to our Representatives and Senators

American federal holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15.

Maybe because Martin Luther King, Jr. is a bit more important in American history than the Super Bowl? The thought of honoring this man as a "hangover/recovery day" from the Super Bowl is sickening.

Come on, man.

Also, moving MLK day to the day of the Super Bowl would overshadow a day where MLK should be celebrated.

You must've been drunk when you posted this. But I see that this was posted at 10:21 so I have my doubts.

Let's go watch the new Selma movie instead.
From what I've read the movie isn't historically accurate, read the stories instead.

I haven't seen it yet, but the only stuff that I have seen so far is that the depiction of the president is overstated, which is probably true but also the nature of Hollywood.

What's crazy to me is that it is still at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's insane.
