We should accept a bowl given the chance

let chubba throw the ball 50 times to see what he's made of. it is clear he has the best chance to be a good starter. i'd like to see what he could do with 3 weeks preparation for a bowl.

not to mention we have a ton of freshman that would benefit from a bowl

from what i understand there are 18 5 win teams to fill 13 spots, but many of the 5 win teams play on saturday

Don't pull a Frost and put it to a vote. We get offered go. Exposure, seniors deserve it after all the crap they've put up with.  Extra practices would be HUGE.  Looks like 77 teams are eligible.  Still need 5 teams....

NO. Though 2015 Foster bowl, Huskers 5W-7L beat UCLA

Anyway, B1G eliminate bowls, 4 teams so far, Hoosiers, Boilers, Spartans and Huskers ..... and perhaps, Illini (tomorrow game vs. NW) and Rodents (tomorrow game vs. UW).

Whatever it takes! Bowl of Wheaties for every player on the team and the entire coaching staff. DAILY.

Yes the coaches should accept an invitation if they get one.  Take the kids who want to play.  Probably give you a good indicator of who needs to be replaced if they don't want to play.  Play the young guys who haven't had the chance to get on the field

long shot at best...but if offered...yeah.   accept the offer.  only concern i have is the off season surgery that purdy needs.    if he waits till after a bowl game will he be ready for spring practice?  our starter being injured for spring practice was how we ended up with sims.

Are we close with this academic ranking thing? Not sure how on how this all works.

But I'll take any bowl for more evaluation time and practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me the Corndog Bowl or the Mayonaise Bowl or the Pepto Bowl, anything!

Surgery or no surgery we are 100% bringing another QB in. Purdy doesn’t deserve to be crowned starter. He’s now thrown 2 ghastly pics in late game scenarios that cost his team W’s. Sure, he might be the best option out of the qb room as it stands today but that’s more of a byproduct of how crappy his peers are

If we somehow get a bowl invite, which we won’t, you take it for the betterment of the team. Zero consideration should be paid as to how it’ll impact your 2nd string qb next year

Post game yesterday call in show, I think they said we were in the 60s. They basically said this thing isn’t going to happen. Season over

The talking heads like the fact that Nebraska hasn’t gone to a bowl game in years…it’s their version of the sell out streak and they want to keep it going.  There will be no bowl invitation this year

No need to worry folks, we aren't nery high enough in APR to get an invite. We were top 5/10 when it happened in 2015, but we're 66th now.
