We still love you Huskers

Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory.

Ohio State played the better game tonight. Congratulations to them, they earned it.

Not that Nebraska compares to the Cubs (because that would make me laugh today...probably the only thing) but I understand the fan base, because no matter what, I'd never cheer for anyone else but the Huskers. Ever. It actually makes me sick to know that there are former NU fans that jumped on the Tejass and Alabama bandwagon just so they can say that their team wins. People so insecure with football losses that they have to jump ship to the flavor of the month to make themselves feel better.

I complain. I b!^@h. I annoy people. But as bad as it rubs people the wrong way, I do it because I care about my team. That's all that matters to me.

How many of us thought that this would be the game that we would lose? The worst thing that happened tonight in my opinion is that Rex got hurt again. I love our Huskers and will continue to support them no matter what. GO BIG RED!

Yeah, what's up with Rex? What's the nature of his injury? Hope he comes back soon.

+1 to thread.

Its time to make some decisions for the future. Cotton has got to go. The right side of our OL would be embarrased by high school kids. I hate seeing TM getting pressure when Long is just standing there with his thumb up his a$$. The left tackle isn't much better. The best o-lineman is a walk on from Korea. The strength and conditioning coach can join Barney on the bus out of town. I hate seeing linemen with bulging waist lines. We need heavy and no more that 12% body fat The D-line isn't much better and the secondary gets exploited because we don't have anything that resembles a pass rush. Bo has been and still is the man I want as coach but I'm beginning to crumble a bit. I watched the Clemson/Georgia Tech. game earlier today and I found myself thinking, 'What if we had hired Paul Johnson?'

Tomorrow will be better but we still have Northwestern, Michigan and even Penn State to worry about.

tOSU is ranked 12th, is the only team that's undefeated in the B1G, and I think today we saw why. They have a deadly quarterback with a deadly coach to back him up. Huskers were also playing at the Horseshoe, which is never an easy task... it almost makes me understand the number of fumbles and penalties.

Almost.

But you back the Huskers, even when they don't play their best, and you hope for better later on. Remember, criticism doesn't stop you from being a fan, but whining does. You've gone through far worse than this with far worse coaches, so you'll live. :)

I love the Huskers, but I honestly feel this program deserves far better coaching. I will continue to send the check and support this program, but I am losing faith that he will ever truly be a head coach, and the fact that he is supposed to be a defensive genius.

Didn't sound promising. The sideline reporter mentioned something about Rex grimmacing in pain when he tried to move side to side on that knee. I think he'll be done for several weeks. With any luck, he'll be back by bowl season.
