We have the second longest losing streak behind UTEP at 17.  Even if we lose Saturday, UTEP would have to win for us to move into the top position. UTEP plays North Texas (4-1) so little chance of a win by UTEP.  We suck at losing too.

You might be on to something there. The Miners last two losses to NMSU and UTSA  were by 7 & 9 points respectively. Maybe we have a chance to take over the #1 spot. The UTEP game is at 6:30 but unfortunately doesn’t appear to be televised. 

 
I would venture to say when we fired Solich and said the reason for that was because we were not going to let ourselves slip into mediocrity. That if someone told them 15 years from now Nebraska will have the 2nd longest losing streak in the country. No one in 2003 would have believed you.
