I have lived in Blue Springs for 3 years now, and high school football is big time here. It's a town of 50,000, and at one point a couple of years ago, both Blue Springs and Blue Springs South were in the national top 25. They have a very good youth football program here, so the kids are very well coached. They have been putting out several D-1 prospects a year since I have been here. Missouri QB recruit Blaine Dalton, from BSS is somewhat of a high school legend around here, we should have gone after him. If this kid is a walk on, he will be better prepared than the Nebraska walk-on kids to play right away.

edit..oops the kid is from Lees Sumit. That is where walk on Matt Holt is from.
