Well, what is going to happen

I dont know what will happen, hope the Huskers battle and play their best. They can win this game. Its just that, for whatever reason my stupid mind keeps flashing 28-10 at halftime (OU leading) :hmmph

You're giving our offense alot of credit with that score. :sarcasm

ha ha yeah I know right? I can see Paul muff a punt, and then make up for it later returning a kick or punt for a score or inside the 10. He's not due for the muff, but he is due to break one.

Its not what I want, but I hate my mind sometimes!@

This is just a guess, but more than likely everyone will get heavily drunk after the first quarter and pass out during the second half.

Our only chance it to not turn it over. We can not take one single turn over.

We need to try to pin them deep in their territory and keep them on that side of the field.

We need to throw the ball down field and deep. A interception down field is nearly as good as a punt.

We can not throw that sideline behind the line of scrimmage pass one single time. They will eat that alive.

We have to try and win, not survive.

Keep them honest, we can not win this game with them having 8 or more in the box.

Our tight ends have been the only real weapon we can depend on, use them more.

Pray Robinson can play and is really healthy, not just Pelini healthy, same with Helu.

Huh?!?!

Here is my the game as I have played it out in my head....

1st Q, Alex Henery, 40 yard field goal

1st Q, Broyles, 50-yard pass from Jones. PAT, kick.

2nd Q, Cody Green, 40-yard run. PAT, kick.

2nd Q, Cody Green, 50-yard pass to Brandon Kinne. PAT, kick.

3rd Q, N. Suh, forced fumble. Larry Asante, 40-yard return. PAT, kick.

4th Q, Cody Green, 25-yard pass to Kinne. PAT, kick.

4th Q, Broyles, 10-yard pass from Jones. PAT, kick.

Final

NU 31, Sooners 14

C. Green, 75 yards rush, 225 pass

R. Helu, 75 yards rush

B. Kinne, 7 catches, 120 yards

This proves a few things.... I have a desire to see Kinne live up to his hype as Mo Purify like.... I have a desire to see Cody breakout for a huge game...I have A LOT of faith in the defense....I love the Huskers, and, lastly, I like to daydream.... :0)

Would be cool if it would happen....

IN the meantime, I will just go crazy on the.......

I'm Ready for Saturday

When you look at the tangibles in Saturday's matchup, OU is a LOT better than us... BUT, I think if these men of the red can come out, even for three quarters, and play lights out, wayyyy above their heads, we could win this game. THAT would be sooooo cool. I'd love to see these kids get a win that they are NOT SUPPOSED to get... I think they DESERVE a win against #24 OU and I hope the football Gods are listening. Someone asked who this game meant MORE to...? Jesus, you're kidding, right? OU's national title hopes are gone for this year, they'll end up with a winning season and that's GOOD ENOUGH for them for this year. No-one's gonna cancel their friggin' recruiting visit to Norman because OU loses to NU this year...! Stoops is till gonna pull grade A talent from all over the goddang USA for his team. Jesus. Between him and Mack Brown, you'd think they're PAYING them kids to come there! If OU loses this game, it's not the end of the world for them. They're chock full of talent already and will just re-load next year. A win for NU however...? Holy Jesus, mother of the lamb... THAT would be HUGE for our program. GOBIGRED!

NU:86 OU:24

*gulp*
