West Coast OFFENSIVE!

Calahan's offense looks more ball control than explosive. I liked the running game, but the plays were predictable. When they shift, 90% chance it is a running play. The secondary lost the game vs OSU. They looked outclassed vs the OSU wideouts and QB in the 2nd quarter on. ASU (LSU vs ASU means nada) has more team speed than the Big 10 Huskers. The Huskers look like Wisconsin, with a passing attack and minus the secondary. They do not have the speed of the Big 12 South teams like OSU, Texas, ATM or Tech. The Huskers need to mix in some no-huddle into their offense to keep the defense off balance. They can keep mixing in the RBs because Lucky, Glenn and crew can show out like Bush and White if that OL is for real in 2007.

Are you a husker fan because that was kind of a slap in the face. We can compete with the south. Texas- ill mark it down as a win speed was not a factor in the game just an unlucky fumble. Okie State- that was unexceptable but we were the better team. aTm- We beat them and had them beat until the 2nd half when our offense turned into a no-show except for the final drive. And if youve looked at our recruits were right with Texass and OU recruiting top notch players and getting top 20 classes and youre telling me theres no speed on this team?

Keep it up and you won't be here long. Oh and by the way the man who coaches our team, his name would be Coach Callahan. Spelled with 2 l's. If you are going try to diss us, at least get our coaches name right. :madash

Thanks and bye bye

I am not sure he is a Husker fan.....most of us will replace the word WE for Huskers at least once when talking about our team.

"NO OBJECTIVE OPINIONS ARE ALLOWED TO BE EXPRESSED ON THIS BOARD". ;)

No. I thought it was an interesting insight. 90% of the time we shift, it's a run play? I didn't notice that, and I'll have to check for that next year and see if it's true. Besides, husker fan or not, he should be welcome here :)

I was watching the Texas game and the ABC TV guys said it, and it was true. They were very predictable. They had no running game in the big games, vs Texas, USC, OU. Remember, Jackson scored on a shuffle/shuttle pass, not a run. They had some success on the last drive, but they passed and got the TO on 4th down.
