Here's some more insight on WIU:
WIU is very well-coached (HC - Patterson was offered the Army job as well as others this off-season) and the talent level is pretty high for a D-1AA program. The biggest problem WIU will face will be at QB, where they just lost a long-time starter and school record holder. This school consistently puts out quality players to the NFL with 3-4 getting drafted every year. WIU has gone deep into the 1AA playoffs several years in a row (missing the championship by only 1 point this year).
