Ask him how he thinks Martinez would fare against USC's defense . . . you know, the one that gave up 588 yards to Hawaii.

Taylor is an average passer. I think we will find that out when we face a defense with a pulse. He's a great runner though, which was probably why he was on the field.

In my opinion, our offense will be average this year. Nothing too great but not as horrible as last year.

also, did your 'friend' (does not sound so friendly to me) actually watch the game?

Ya didn't USC give up almost 600 yards to Hawaii and beat them by 6 pts.....ya he's not too bright. USC fans only care about their team when they're winning.

As Husker fans we're mostly not too worried about the Washington game. I think it's unreasonable to expect that they'll be cowering at the prospect of playing us.

I don't think he remembers what Locker looked like throwing the ball as a Freshman and Sophomore. Now he is a projected #1 NFL Pick.
