What are you giving up for Lent?

Well boys, I fell off the Lent wagon last night. It was such a beautiful afternoon that, after work, I sat on the back deck of my office building as the sun set and enjoyed a Partagas 1845 Robusto with my cigar buddy from the little shop down the street. LINK It was glorious!

How long have people been practicing this lent thing? Seems like I never heard of it prior to a couple of years ago.

I didn't even know there were any Catholics in my hometown until a buddy asked me to be his Best Man at a Catholic Wedding.

His Mom almost fainted after I spelled out "HELP ME" in white tape on the bottom of his shoes..
