Maybe the 1680's..Sorry..but the 1980's really sucked for music. I'd bet these (BOYZ?) would even consider Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Marivn Gaye, Smokey Robinson, or The Commodores to be "Old School". Just a matter of perspective. I was in college durring the '80's..Went to lots of parties, but stayed away from the "Lucky Lady/Celebration" So I never heard of that group..Just thought they sounded a little like that DeBarge stuff I accidently heard once.
