Ok so my son being born has been great as we are now 2 and 0 with him. My oven had a small fire in it that filled the house with smoke moments before kickoff....what did you guys do out of the norm that helped...oh i also wore my husker boxers for the first time this season. :)

 
I found the key element to all Husker victories...Busch Light. I recalled that every time I have drank Busch Light on game day, the Huskers have won. I have a new favorite beer(at least on game day)!

Yeah see this morning I dug into the shorts drawer and it dawned on me that I hadn't been wearing husker boxers this year like I usually do. Phew lucky for us I remembered that.

 
I had to go outside and rake the lawn with 2 minutes left in the game. Thought I was going to puke.

I would yell at the Offense too "hold onto the damn ball" and then knock on wood. It seems everytime I leave the room we do something good.

Maybe next week I will go for a 4 hour drive during the game.

 
I cooked prime rib on the Showtime Cooker (set it N ferget it)......left it on the whole game even though it was baked by the time the game was over. Don't know if it was the Bud Light, but the prime rib tasted fantastic!

My new girly-man watch (#10) is too tight for my wrists and on tense third down situations in the last quarter, I found myself trying to stretch it to fit on my head as I got within inches of my computer screen (watched it on espn360).

I also resisted the urge to open up the official gametime thread. :thumbs

We didn't do anything...our football team did.

(And the crowd helped, so if you are superstitious then make sure you are loud for every home game.)

 
Before the game, I asked on O'Hanlon's facebook wall to get three interceptions. I guess he took my advice.
