Portal, portal, portal. At least that was one thing very evident from the disaster today. If we don’t finish top 3 in the portal we are not bowling next season.

We did get 7 wins. We got the bowl. We got slaughtered in that bowl. We have no D (to the tune of about 1200 yards lost in the last three games). And we have a Head Coach whose mind seems to go blank at critical times while taking on the physical appearance of a husband in the doghouse trying to find the vacuum cleaner.

The program is in disarray and it's going to take a miracle for Rhule to get us to 9 or 10 wins next season given he struggled mightily this season against a weak schedule. As I posted in another thread, Nebraska was less competitive this season than the prior 2 Rhule seasons. There is little Rhule has done as HC to give confidence he will make the right personnel decisions moving forward. Perhaps the biggest concern is that the culture that Rhule claimed to be building appears to have collapsed the past 6 weeks. With many players leaving and new players (and coaches) coming in, I am not sure how he builds the right culture moving forward.

Nebraska is REALLY bad at football. Like WTH level of bad. Unbelievable amounts of money invested into a really bad football program. We should stick to volleyball.

"Help Wanted, 2 edge rushers that have at least 15 career sacks or 5 sacks last season"

Like, embrace how easy it is to "pay" players now.

We can go crazy in the portal but we don't have the right coaches or head coach to make them better players.
