What did we learn Illinois edition

I learned that I know how to spot a Nebraska loss way before the game is over.

I saw it on the Raiola overthrow. I knew it would be painful and familiar

Reminds me of the Maryland game or maybe the Michigan State game from last year (maybe both, it’s all blending in at this point) where the energy was just weird from the start.

On the road 3 of the next 4. Going to need better defensive energy than this.

2 Things.

1.  We're gonna look back at the end of this year and question why greater urgency wasn't placed on getting a field goal kicker here.  Alvano has gotten too much praise and a pass around here for hitting some kick in high school.  He was a borderline failure last year and to just bring him here this season with minimal competition for the job is inexcusable.

2.  I dont really wanna hear abuot this defense being solid for awhile.  Last year we continually gave up 3rd down conversions, long plays, couldnt clamp down when it mattered.  looked exactly the same tonight.

Got some people laughing at me in the game thread, but Matt Rhule’s game and time management is awful. Starting to wonder if Carolina is the norm and not Baylor.
What good does game and time management do you when you dont have a kicker who can make a 25 yard field goal?  On the list of dumb af things we saw tonight, the time management doesnt even crack the top 10 on concerns but continue to stand on your soap box and yell!
