Did NU really just go 1-8 in conference and have a scoring margin of 0?????

Haha.  You look at our stats and it is like we are in Bizarro world.  So crazy that there is no way they are true.  We will never see another team perform so well.but be so bad.  Impossible to ever replicate.

They destroyed Northwestern, beat a couple non-Power 5s, and single digit losses to rest.

Thanks to Nebraska's bumbling and Minnesota upsetting Wisconsin, Iowa now backs in the Big Ten title game.  Their fans will be insufferable if they actually manage to win ugly against Michigan.

what I learned? that it actually COULD get worse than 5 years ago when I kinda lost my interest after 50 years of being a die hard fan. i really hope I don't relearn that lesson with a new low in the future!

Possibly.  Or It's hard to change bad habits and coaching in 3 weeks in season.  I still think a top notch OL coach and an OC that is able to and allowed to challenge Frost can make a big difference. Is it enough to clean up the current mess? That remains to be seen. I prefer to be optimistic about the possibility, especially since we know Frost is getting another year.  GBR!

 
For contrast. What he's discussing is a missing element. When ya get smacked hard, ya gotta pick yourself up and smack right back unrelenting! So we got gut punched, now lets deliver ours. That's an issue for us. We're lacking a nasty attitude, tenacity.
