I learned that this game was much better to watch the 2nd time. Way too stressful the first time thinking the struggling offense would end up costing us the game. I mean who really thought we could win a game with defense and special teams? Much more enjoyable rewatching knowing the outcome.

Before yesterday's games Iowa was 10th and MSU was 21st in the nation in total defense.

In defensive efficiency MSU is #3 in the country and Iowa is #5, that is the best parameter, it includes strength of schedule.
