Hard fought game. Competed like hell, made some plays, made some mistakes.

Michigan has a good chance of being the most talented and the most physical team we play. I'm optimistic going forward, everything is still in front of us and we aren't behind schedule on the rebuild.

In a positive from today I really like our receiving core. They could a little better in their perimter blocking, but in my opinion as a whole this is the best set of receivers Nebraska has had in a few years.

I did mention earlier that I was curious if the new end zone colors with the red turf being behind the out of bounds line might have affected Hunter on that play. I don't really know? It could have just been really bad luck because he was wide open at it would have tied the game.

Good point. Rhule is pretty open at his press conferences so you never know.

At the end of the day Nebraska has a lot more things to worry about besides the end zone colors possibly playing a role in a touchdown that had to be called back.

We are MAYBE a slightly better team than last year which will result in one more win than last year. Emphasis on MAYBE.
Rhule is 0-7 against ranked opponents and 2-11 in one score games. Is he earning his millions? MAYBE.
