Well I mean we did get the W so there’s that. I’m just not holding out much hope for the offense to be much better than what we’ve already seen this season. The OL has shown a bit of improvement but is still suspect. We just lost 2 of our top 3 RBs to injury for the remainder of the season. Our WR room has been highly ineffective and while HH looked okay against NIU, I’m not yet willing to crown him as the answer to what has been a substandard offense thus far. NIU did not field a defense on par with what we’ll see in conference play. Maybe we’ll be okay but that seems to be wishful thinking at this point. Hopefully the defense and ST will keep us in most games and the O finds a way to do just enough.
