What did we learn?....Penn State

I learned that Drew Brown is the best tackler on the team.

I learned that our DLine has not been coached to keep the shoulders straight and not get turned, one if not all 3 get turned on each play.

One more week......

It feels like 50 years. If I had terminal cancer with one year to live, I would want MR to get one more year, because it would seem like forever.
The next 7 days are going to seem like an eternity.  Fortunately we have a holiday to distract us.  In the first half I was optimistic that Moos would have no choice but to put Sprinkles out of our misery sooner then planned.  Alas, Franklin and PSU screwed us.  If they had a shred of decency and made it a 77-28 game like they could have, I believe we would hear a soothing Moos call tomorrow.

This what I learned:

(1) SPIELMAN IS THE BEST RECEIVER IN ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. HE IS SUPERMAN AND A SUPERHUSKER

(2) We have the following great players: Spielman, Stanely Morgan, Hoppes, Tanner Lee, Ozigbo, Pierson Al, and Wilbon, yet Riley and his incompetent gang of worthless coaches failed to coach them and put them in a position to win games.

(3) I feel so bad for our players. They deserve much better than what they have been dealt.  Giving them Riley and his worthless gang of clueless coaches is like giving Dale Earnhardt Jr. a bicycle and asking him to race in Indy and expecting him to win.

(4) There is absolutely no reason for us not to be able to win enough games to make a bowl with this team if the coaches did their job.

(5) Riley and his goons should have to answer to the people of Nebraska as to why they are drawing big checks when the team allowed more than 55 points in three games this season.

(6) Riley is not nice...he is incompetent and is cashing checks he did not earn

(7) Riley and his goons should all be fired at the end of the season and should be escorted out of the state of NEBRASKA AND NEVER ALLOWED TO STEP FOOT IN THE STATE. If they step foot, their contracts should be automatically cancelled and no money should be paid out.

(8) Can’t wait for A WONDERFUL AND FROSTY CHRISTMAS...SANTA MOOS SHOULD GIVE US OUR GIFT NEXT SUNDAY.

I learned i  watched the first game and saw us get picked apart by those passes to the flat and bubble screens. I thought: we’ll adjust. Nope.

Then I watched the first half against Oregon. Haven’t watched a single down since. I’m not watching this crap. Until they get someone who can coach the talent we DO have I’m done.

Im not fair weather or jumping ship. I still read all the news, box scores, recaps and on this board everyday. But I’m not tuning in to watch.

For me it's like watching a car crash.  You know you're better off not watching but you just can't look away.  The way I see it, I'm watching us at our lowest so the turnaround will seem even more drastic.  It will all be worth it eventually!

I tuned in for the same reason.  The first 10 minutes had me captivated.  I was out hanging Christmas lights before halftime.....

If it wasn't my son's first game next week, I wouldn't waste my time going.  I would much rather spend the day with my parents.

I learned that if I don’t watch the dumpster fire I am much more productive, happy, and don’t get explosive stress-induced diarrhea. Yesterday was a fine day.
