What did we learn? UTEP edition

I was at the game....8 rows from the field 30 yard line on the Husker side and The Husker WR's are freaking massive.

The entire team is pretty big but the WR's are tall, long and built.

I do think they pulled the starters a bit early.
Must’ve scored those tix by flashing your Costco member cred

But what shooters did you get?

I thought about this a lot. The Colorado game is probably the biggest one of the season; if we lose it, we lose confidence for the next three. If we win it, we get the head of steam we need to go on a run.

So I think it was good to play it safe and avoid injuries. But yeah, Raiola and the O-line probably needed a couple more series all in all.

They’ll get more time to rest next week when we are up big.

I didn’t get to watch the game but listened to it. After hearing it and then seeing the replay it seems apparent that we have the QB to get us over the hump. I was most impressed by the 2 minute drill at the end of the 1st half. DR seemed poised and the coaches managed the clock well ( compared to last season)  DR delivered a pass in the only possible place with just seconds remaining. Great way to end a half.

Was it just me, or was anyone else surprised they didn’t make it a point to get Fidone the ball more today?
then again maybe they weren’t showing everything before next week.
