What Did We Learn???

I've learned that a win can feel like a loss, especially when the problems exhibited are systematic and aren't being addressed by the staff.

I also learned that I'll need to get some of that Prilosec OTC that Larry's been hawking to get through the Meatchicken game next week...

Northwestern < Iowa State

Martinez when used correctly and actually gets a block for more than 2 seconds can actually ball a little bit.

That a win is absolutely better than a loss no matter how you do it. But there are things we absolutely have to work on. Our defense definitely stepped up and shut down a decent offense.

2. 3rd & 1 means here comes a playaction pass (aka, Beck needs to pull his head out of his a$$)
I can think of one 3rd & short where we ran it up the middle and got stuffed.

I can also think of a 3rd & short on our final scoring drive where we called a pass play and converted.

Duke makes a great point. In 2007, that team gives up in this situation. Our team didn't. And that makes all the difference in the world, to me, regarding our coach's employment.
