I guess I have never really seen numbers of how much the bars pull in but I would have to guess that a lot of the bars on O street could almost make their entire year off of the 7-8 home games. Much like Paulies in Omaha used to do during the CWS.
Now, with a lot of 11am games, how big of a negative impact is that? Anyone work at the bars or have friends that work there?
I would think that they don't get packed until after 10am and lets face it, if they lose, it clears out, just like the UCLA game this year.
So, just for the sake of using numbers, if Bar A makes 10,000 dollars on a Husker game that starts at 2:30 or later, what would it make for a game that starts at 11am?
