What do you think the impact is of 11am games on Lincoln?

My buddies and I always looked at it this way. If it was a 2:30 game or later, we generally would go to the bars because we liked having multiple TVs to check out all the other games going on. When it was an 11am game, we weren't that interested in the bars because nothing was on other than College Gameday, so we'd maybe get some breakfast, but usually just get downtown right before kickoff.

Boo Hoo! 11am kickoff bwaaahhhh...... Out here in AZ it's a 9am kickoff and it sux azz....just sayin

It might have negative effects on recruiting, I'm not sure, but I for one love the early games. It's 9AM for me. First thing in the morning, Husker Saturday? yes please.

What is the deal with the B1G and all of the 11 AM games? I am seriously asking. After reading some of the posts on here, some people seem to think that B1G refuses to have later games in November. Anyone know the reason for this?

11:00 AM games suck. If you are going to the game you have to go the night before add $145.00 plus $60.00 a head for all who go with you and for me that usually means its my dime that pays. If you don't go what do you do after the game? Wife always has 'Honey Do's' and again that sucks.

Well...hopefully the wife's not feeling a bit frisky with that list...you might be worn out

I don't really know but I'd guess it boosts revenues quite a bit on Friday night as people are getting in early for the early start, then after the game ends in the early afternoon on Saturday I doubt everyone just high-tails it for Gothenburg...they probably stay around Lincoln most of the day eating, drinking and shopping.
