What does your head tell you?

My head tells me that we can honestly win the game. Our team is improved, our backs are great, and watch out for Mo. The only worry is the secondary, but I see the front seven making much more of an impact today than the past two games. My heart says we win by 17, but head says 6. GBR!

 
The later in the week it got, the better I feel about tonight's game. I think the Huskers really have to strap on those helmets tight, not get too excited and over pursue, keep the guy in front of you, and make em come up with snot bubbles!!

 
My head tells me that I want NEBRASKA to shut up the people at ESPN so much. I don't care if they win or lose, I just want them to play bigtime football, and show they can compete.

If I were an NU player, I'd have more than enough motivation for this game. I'd be waiting for this one since last year.

ANd I'd also tell everyone to stay cool and control that motivation, because USC will try to trick you with it. Don't take the bait. But once you've got them on the run, don't ever stop chasing them. That is what my head tells me.

I'm also really tired of ESPN and the press giving virtual blowjobs to the entire USC team for so long.

 
But you gotta realize, USC is deserving of these "virtual blowjobs".

I don't think we are gonna get the W. But we will not get embarrassed.

I hope I'm wrong.

WEll this is no time to start holding back on the motivation or support. I don't love NU conditionally. I'm with them whatever happens.

I want them to do well under the spotlight tonight, and I'm recording the game no matter what.

Well I woke up from my dream of a 14-14 tie will a little over 2 minutes left when USC turned it over on downs and it was our turn for offense to win the game for us in about 2 minutes...then I woke up so it left me wondering! <_<

I actually had a dream about the game. We were playing well, up 14-10 going into the 4th quarter. ZT was playing great with no turnovers.

 
My head is telling me it's going to be very simmilar to Texas Tech last year. They'll come out, pop us in the mouth, but we'll stand strong. It'll be close, until we have a chance to win. Either we'll pull out a squeaker or USC will turn on the afterburners and edge us by 7-14... Or we could win, or we could get blown out. All I can predict is that it's going to be one HELLUVA game!

I hope they don't hang 21 on us like Tech did though. I think we really need to score right away, or if they get the ball first, stop them. That would make me happy for a few minutes. After that, make some plays, but no turnovers.

I'm thinking the first few posessions will be like last year vs sCUm. They'll have some big plays, but we'll stop them, and I think we might even have a chance to score first.
